Hey guys!
I hope that you're all having a fabulous summer so far! I know that I sure have. A few weeks ago, I went on a shark tagging trip down in Florida, and wow...it was simply amazing!!! For wildlife conservation purposes, of course, we caught and tagged 3 bonnethead sharks, a blacknose shark, an Atlantic sharpnose shark, a nurse shark, a baby blacktip reef shark, 3 baby cownose stingrays, and an Atlantic stingray! I had the honor of releasing the blacknose shark (I seriously almost cried tears of happiness lol), and got to tag the nurse shark and the Atlantic stingray. Going on Hiatus!

Good afternoon~
I just wanted to let you guys know that as of tomorrow, April 26th, I will be going on hiatus! I'm not really sure how long I'll be away, but I'll be very busy with finishing up my end of the semester work; finals week; working on my scuba certification; my part time job; and my trip to Florida to tag and research sharks and rays. So I probably won't be back until the end of June or so.
Until then, I wish you all the best with everything in your lives.

Hey all,
So I'm just throwing this out there: As of now, I'm 85% sure that I'll be leaving DeviantART.
Above all, the site is a huge distraction from school. Seeing as how I'm a dual degree major in Biology and Marine Science with a minor in Spanish, distractions are NOT an option. Marine bio careers are competitive as it is and I absolutely HAVE to come out on top to achieve my dream of working in shark conservation.
Plus, nobody gives a shit about the art and journal entries that I do post, when science isn't overtaking my life. Logically, there is no point in me sticking around if I don't have an audience to create art for.
